Cardi B hopped on one other collaboration on Thursday (Sept. 20), contributing a verse to longtime pal Pardison Fontaine’s new track, “Backin’ It Up.”
The video exhibits Fontaine, Cardi and their crew dwelling it up in delis and parking garages, decked in luxurious materials and jewels. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper’s verse proves to be extremely related in her life proper now, following her public physical altercation with Nicki Minaj at a New York Fashion Week party. “B—-es suppose they f—ing with me, should be sick within the head/Why do not you chill with the meat and get some hen as a substitute,” she asserts in her verse. “Cardi B, dangerous b—, these is f—ing synonyms,” she continues.
One day earlier, she took to Instagram to element her relationship with Fontaine, positing a throwback video of the 2 partying. “Pardi has helped me quite a bit with my development and growth as a recording artist,” she wrote. “I’m actually blissful to be becoming a member of him on his subsequent single BACKIN’ IT UP, which will probably be dropping in a while! I did the track and shot the video whereas I used to be 5 and a half months pregnant! I used to be cranky as f— however I knew that it was going to be a Hit! Hit! Hit!”
