Palworld’s ‘Windy and Wavy’ Update Adds Three New Pals

Palworld Windy and Wavy Update New Pals

Pocketpair, the creative force behind the survival sensation Palworld, has unveiled a trio of unprecedented creatures slated to join the game’s roster. These novel Pals are scheduled to debut in 2027 as the centerpiece of a massive expansion titled “Windy and Wavy.” This upcoming update introduces three distinct entities: Eyebrowt (Grass-type), SoBecqua (Water-type), and Bonpom (Fire-type).

According to technical specifications released by the developer, Eyebrowt is categorized as a “Bean Chick” Pal, while SoBecqua is identified as a “Life Water” Pal. Perhaps most peculiar is Bonpom, described officially as a “Reheated Nachos” Pal. The reveal trailer showcases these creatures in a high-octane montage, wielding a diverse arsenal of modern weaponry—ranging from standard sidearms and AK-47s to high-caliber RPGs. In a particularly striking sequence, Eyebrowt is even seen brandishing a combat knife.

“Our comprehensive Windy and Wavy expansion is set for a 2027 launch, conveniently appearing roughly a month or two after the anticipated debut of Pokémon Winds and Waves on the Nintendo Switch 2,” the studio noted in a press statement. “This update transports players to a Southeast Asian-inspired locale, offering fresh aerial and maritime exploits alongside our new trio. Furthermore, we are thrilled to introduce two regional adaptations of a fan favorite: Windybolt and Wavybolt, the latest iterations of Grizzbolt.”

When questioned about the thematic similarities to other major monster-collecting franchises, Pocketpair maintained a cryptic stance. “The full scope of this journey remains under wraps until 2027. We are essentially waiting to see the direction of the market when Pokémon Winds and Waves arrives. However, we must emphasize that our development path is entirely independent—we simply concluded that launching a Southeast Asian monster-hunting odyssey at that specific time would be a compelling coincidence.”

As the community awaits the 2027 rollout, fans can stay occupied by exploring Pocketpair’s other ventures, including the upcoming simulation title Palworld Palopia and the competitive arena of Palworld Champions.
