Serious gamers will soon be able to play their favorite titles on the portable OneXFly Apex handheld from OneXPlayer. The unit features an 8-inch display, a silent liquid-cooling system, and an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 “Strix Halo” processor.
One-Netbook, the company behind the X1 Air and OneXSugar 1, has published a teaser video for a new horizontal handheld under the OneXPlayer brand, named the OneXFly Apex.
This flagship model, built for dedicated gamers, boasts an 8-inch 120 Hz display with VRR, adjustable multi-stage triggers, Windows 11, backlit thumbsticks, ABXY buttons, a D‑pad, dual Harman Kardon speakers and a Mini SSD slot.
Inside the OneXFly Apex is an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 “Strix Halo” processor with 16 cores and 32 threads built on Zen 5, paired with an integrated Radeon 8060S GPU featuring 40 compute units on RDNA 3.5 (up to 2.9 GHz boost, and support for up to 96 GB of video memory via shared RAM).
The console also incorporates a silent liquid-cooling solution and a removable 85 Wh battery. The OneXFly Apex will support up to 120 W of power delivery and up to 128 GB of system memory.
There’s no confirmation yet on preorders or the release timeline. Expect the OneXFly Apex to command a premium price.
