‘One Sixth’ Film Festival Begins in Yekaterinburg

From September 25 to 30, Yekaterinburg will host the fourth edition of “One Sixth”, an international festival dedicated to debut films from across the Eurasian continent.

The program comprises dozens of first-time features and shorts that have previously screened at festivals such as Cannes, Tallinn, Berlin, Toronto and Sundance.

Competition highlights include Kamila Ramazanova’s “Vstrechnye”, Saveliy Osadchy’s “Boy-Bird”, Maria Krasnoperova’s “While the River Flows”, the Turkish entry “House Without an Address”, the Chinese film “Light”, the Swiss “The Daring Ones” and others.

The festival jury features television host Alexander Gordon, producer Anna Shalashina, casting director Vladimir Golov and actor Naur Garmelia. The opening night film will be Alexey Chadov’s comedy “(Not) Artificial Intelligence”.
