One-Punch Man Season 3 Gets New Trailer Ahead of October Release

One-Punch Man Season 3 Gets New Trailer Ahead of October Release

Saitama returns to screens six and a half years after the second season first aired.

Ahead of the third season’s premiere, EMOTION Label Channel released a new trailer that includes a snippet of the opening performed by JAM Project and BABYMETAL.

The upcoming season will continue the Monster Association arc — the fifteenth story arc of Yusuke Murata’s original manga.

The third season is directed by Shinpei Nagai, who previously served as an assistant on Fantasia Sango: Realm of Legends. Production is handled by studio J.C. Staff, which was responsible for the second season. Returning to the project are writer Tomohiro Suzuki, composer Makoto Miyazaki, and character designer Takashi Kubota.

Earlier, Nagai admitted the third season is “unlikely to match the first” and asked viewers not to criticize J.C. Staff, arguing the studio focuses on cultivating its own talent rather than, as larger corporately funded companies do, poaching key staff from across the industry.

The third season of One-Punch Man is set to begin on October 5; however, Anime News Network reports that a recap episode will air on that date, with the full first episode scheduled for October 12.

The trailer is available at the following link.
