Kathryn Bigelow’s crime thriller Point Break is scheduled for re-release in Russian cinemas on May 7, 2026.
The distribution will be handled by the company Illusion Kino. Originally released in 1991, the film follows a young FBI agent who goes undercover to infiltrate a gang of surfboard-wielding thieves.
Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze play the leading roles. The film grossed $83 million worldwide and has become a cult classic; a 2015 remake, however, was largely panned by critics.
