Omy de Oro’s career has blossomed thanks to star-studded collaborations that include Yandel, Bad Bunny and Rauw Alejandro, to name a few. He now presents the remix to “A Mi Manera” alongside Ozuna, premiering exclusively on Billboard below.
The remix perfectly demonstrates why many of the big dogs have their eyes on Omy: He’s a talented rapper who can sing, pen his own music, and easily navigate from raw trap to a commercial reggaeton.
Seemingly, Ozuna does the same in the “A Mi Manera” remix, where he surprises with his raw rap verses about building himself ground up from the street life to success.
“I live my way/ God knows how many times I tried/ I came from where very few thrive/ Forgive me the times that I sinned, amen/ Things are now my way,” says part of the chorus.
The dramatic music video, helmed by directors Fernando Lugo and Cristian Aguilar, shows both artists performing at an abandoned warehouse as they battle with a group of “haters” and “envious” people dressed in all black. (Watch it exclusively below.)
The “A Mi Manera” remix comes four months after the original track dropped. Ozuna first teased the collaboration at the end of July, posting a video of himself jamming to the remix on his yacht. “Whenever you say,” he told fans in the caption.
