Olivia Rodrigo Wins Best New Artist at 2022 Grammys

She was nominated alongside Japanese Breakfast, Saweetie, Baby Keem, Arooj Aftab, Finneas, and others

Olivia Rodrigo won Best New Artist tonight at the 2022 Grammy Awards. She was nominated in the category alongside Japanese Breakfast, Saweetie, Baby Keem, Arooj Aftab, Finneas, Arlo Parks, the Kid Laroi, Glass Animals, and Jimmie Allen. Rodrigo referred to the honor as her “biggest dream come true.” She accepted the award from Dua Lipa and Megan Thee Stallion (Donatella Versace also made a brief appearance).

Rodrigo was nominated for seven Grammys in total this year: Sour picked up nods for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album; “Drivers License” earned nominations for Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance; and “Good 4 U” was nominated for Best Music Video. Rodrigo also performed during the awards show.
