NVIDIA Releases Game Ready Driver 581.42 with Optimizations for Battlefield 6
NVIDIA has readied itself for the launch of EA and DICE’s shooter. Battlefield 6 arrives on October 10 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
NVIDIA has released the GeForce Game Ready Driver 581.42 WHQL in advance of Battlefield 6’s release. The game will support DLSS 4 with Multi-Frame Generation, but ray tracing is not included — the developers prioritized performance.
In addition to Battlefield 6, the driver enables DLSS 4 for FBC: Firebreak, Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition, and X4: Foundations.
The update also fixes crashes in Planet Coaster 2, resolves flickering in Forza Horizon 4 on RTX 50-series cards, addresses stutters in Battlefield 2042, and corrects performance regressions in projects using the Godot engine.
GeForce Game Ready Driver 581.42 WHQL is available now for download on NVIDIA’s official website and through the GeForce Experience app.
