Northern Landmarks and Buses in Euro Truck Simulator 2: New Screenshots of the Nordic Horizons Expansion

Euro Truck Simulator 2’s map is steadily expanding — players will soon be able to explore a variety of new landmarks.

The developers of the long‑haul driving simulator Euro Truck Simulator 2 are gradually unveiling upcoming content to the community. Once again, the spotlight falls on the northern expansion, Nordic Horizons.

This time SCS Software is highlighting several notable local attractions:

  • Hålogaland Bridge: “Located along the E6 highway, it stands as one of Norway’s most striking modern engineering achievements. Officially opened in 2018, it stretches 1,533 meters across the Rombaksfjord, making it the country’s second‑longest suspension bridge.”
  • The Sámi Parliament in Karasjok municipality: “An impressive contemporary structure inspired by traditional lavvu dwellings, serving as a proud emblem of Sámi self‑government.”
  • North Cape (Nordkapp): “A dramatic rocky plateau rising 307 meters above the Barents Sea, long regarded as the northernmost point of mainland Europe.”

The release date for the Nordic Horizons expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2 has not yet been announced. The DLC has a Steam page — you can add it to your wishlist here.

As usual, the screenshots are from a “work in progress” build and do not reflect the final polish of the content.

Buses can be spotted in some of the shots.
