Kids really do say the darndest things. Like, for instance, that time on Tuesday (May 25) when Kim Kardashian posted an Instagram Story in which the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star displayed a press kit she got honoring Olivia Rodrigo’s debut album, Sour, which consisted of a box full of promo items, including branded tissues and some Sour Patch Kids with the teen pop queen’s picture on it.
“How cute is Olivia Rodrigo, you guys,” Kardashian gushed. “You guys know I love ‘Drivers License.'” But here’s the thing: according to her seven year-old daughter North West that’s not the reality. “You never listen to it,” North West said off-camera in the clip. Stunned at the little one’s impertinence, Kardashian laughed, “Yes I do. I listen to it all the time! Stop North, Saint, don’t we listen to it in the car all the time?”
At that point, five year-old son Saint confirmed his mother’s account.
According to fan grabs of the clip, Kardashian labeled it “NORTH!!!!!,” along with three crying laughing emoji. The swag box also appeared to feature a note signed by Rodrigo that read, “Kim, tank you so much for supporting my music! It means the absolute world. I just adore you & wanted to give you a few goodies to celebrate the release of my new album SOUR. Sending you and ur fam so much love.”
Saint might have a point. According to People, Kardashian posted a clip in which she drove past windmills on the highway as Rodrigo’s signature hit played in the background.
