Despite previously sharing two costumes to social media, Normani revealed that she had one last Halloween look up her sleeve to round off the spooky season. On Monday (Nov. 1), the “Wild Side” singer took to Instagram and Twitter to post a video of her channeling Salma Hayek in the 1996 film From Dusk Till Dawn.
In the video, Normani hit the stage in a burgundy two-piece bikini and showgirl headpiece — much like Hayek’s character, Santanico Pandemonium, in the movie — and started sensually dancing with a yellow boa constrictor snake after shedding her cape. Though Hayek pours beer down her leg in the movie and lets screenwriter and star Quentin Tarantino drink the liquid from her foot, Normani instead drinks the beer and continues her sensual dance while staring down the camera.
Normani also posted a series of photos of the movie-inspired look to her Instagram page, with screenshots of Hayek in a similar get-up from the movie — as well as and the official poster — in the set of pictures. “Salma Hayek 1996,” she captioned the images.
The new costume comes after the R&B singer attended two Halloween parties: Megan Thee Stallion’s Hottieween party, and Doja Cat’s underwater-themed birthday party. For Megan’s event, Normani dressed up as a moss-covered garden fairy. At Doja’s party, Normani donned a goldfish-inspired look, which saw her in an orange bodycon dress with reflective scales, protruding fins and matching platform heels.
