Nioh Collection: here are the first official images on PS5, the SSD also in the spotlight

Nioh Collection resurfaces with the first official images freshly uploaded by Koei Tecmo. For those who are not aware, we remind you that this compilation will bring together the remastered versions of Nioh and Nioh 2, knowing that each of them will also be available separately (Nioh Remastered – Complete Edition and Nioh 2 Remastered – Complete Edition). On the technical level, we are promised 4K with a framerate of up to 120fps, which should appeal to purists who never compromise with precision.

Of course, it will be possible to transfer the PS4 backup data, and to take advantage of the SSD for significantly shorter loading times. Moreover, we are entitled to the two examples below.

Expected for February 5, 2021, Nioh Collection will be preceded by the third expansion “The first samurai” for Nioh 2 (December 17). Moreover, it is specified that:

  • Players who own Nioh 2 – Full Edition on PS4 can upgrade to Nioh 2 Remastered – Full Edition on PS5 at no additional cost.
  • Players who own Nioh 2 on PS4 can upgrade to the base game on PS5, Nioh 2 Remastered, and receive the PS5 version of the expansions they own on PS4.

Finally, all these beautiful people will be available for pre-order on the PlayStation Store from tomorrow.
