Nioh 3 Gets Release Date and New Trailer at State of Play
Team Ninja has officially confirmed the game will launch on February 6, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC. The announcement aligns with yesterday’s Amazon Japan leak.
In the third entry of the series, players take control of Tokugawa Taketiyo, who must fight both demons and humans to fulfill his destiny and rise as the future shogun.
The title preserves the core soulslike experience but adds a significant new feature — the ability to seamlessly switch between two combat archetypes: samurai and ninja.
The ninja stance favors speed, dodging, and mobility, while the samurai approach emphasizes classical weaponry and signature techniques. Developers also promise a less linear world design, greater freedom for exploration, side quests, extra challenges, and two online modes.
