At the “New Season” online-cinema festival in Sochi, a feature-length biopic chronicling the rock band Sektor Gaza was unveiled.
Nikita Kologriviy embodies the group’s frontman, Yuri Khoy. The film will be distributed by the streaming platform Premier; an exact release date will be announced separately.
The picture follows Khoy’s life and artistic path from the late 1980s up to the musician’s death in 2000. It was directed by Vladimir Shchegolkov (Cerber). A first excerpt from the biopic has also been released.
