James Corden announced that four new episodes of “Carpool Karaoke: The Series” on Wednesday night (May 12), which include Haim, Maya Rudolph, Rob Gronkowski, the men of Shark Tank and more. The new eps — which Corden said were recorded before everyone was forced to shelter in place due to the pandemic — are available for free on Apple TV app now and also feature Keegan-Michael Key and actor siblings David and Patricia Arquette.
In the preview Corden debuted on The Late Late Show the Haim sisters get driven around by pal Rudolph as they bust out Prince and Madonna hits, show off their choreo on an L.A. sidewalk and press the flesh at a diner. Meanwhile, David Arquette drives his sister crazy by pulling out a trumpet as they run the gauntlet of the wackiest hats you’ve ever seen while singing the Violent Femmes and Steppenwolf and Key and Gronk are so excited to join in the fun that they just scream uncontrollably while rolling down the street and crooning Queen’s “We Are the Champions.”
The Tankers — Mark Cuban, Daymond John, Kevin O’Leary and Robert Herjavec — do their thing and set up some lemonade stands and “singing” the War classic “Why Can’t We Be Friends?” The new shows join the more than 50 other ones currently available on the app.
