New Action-RPG Silver Palace Looks Like a HoYoverse-Style Detective Game
The highly anticipated anime-style action RPG, Silver Palace, has officially kicked off its “Dichotomy” beta test. To mark the occasion, developer and publisher Elementa Games has unveiled a fresh gameplay trailer, positioning this mystery-laden title as a formidable contender against industry giants like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail.
First revealed last year with an immersive 10-minute showcase, Silver Palace transports players into the grand, Victorian-fantasy metropolis of Silvernia. As a detective navigating this intricate world, players are tasked with unraveling the city’s most guarded secrets. Following the inaugural “Monotype” closed beta earlier this January, the current “Dichotomy” test is available on Windows PC through July 16. Interested adventurers can register for a spot via the official Silver Palace website. Please note that this beta features no microtransactions, and all progress will be reset once the testing period concludes.
The latest trailer offers an expansive look at the game’s narrative depth, atmospheric environments, and diverse gameplay mechanics. The protagonist is shown engaging in a variety of activities, from high-stakes card and chess games to intense interrogations and aerial traversal atop majestic, beast-like mounts. A standout visual highlight is the colossal flying whale that functions as a dirigible, reminiscent of the aesthetic found in the series Leviathan. The palpable tension between the protagonist and a shadowy figure known as Red Rose channels the cinematic flair of celebrated titles like Honkai: Star Rail. Furthermore, the inclusion of stealth-based investigation mechanics provides a refreshing layer of depth that may help Silver Palace carve out a unique space within the competitive gacha RPG market.
In addition to the beta launch, Elementa has released a supplemental trailer introducing the long-awaited male protagonist. Participants in the “Dichotomy” beta will have the opportunity to embody this character while exploring previously unseen areas and systems. For fans unable to join the digital test, the studio has confirmed a global tour, offering hands-on demonstrations at various events throughout the year.
