Michael Rother, founding member of krautrock teams Neu! and Harmonia, has introduced a brand new field set: Solo is out February 22 by way of Groenland. The field collects Rother’s first 4 solo information—Flammende Herzen (1977), Sterntaler (’78), Katzenmusik (’79), and Fernwärme (’82)—together with Soundtracks, which options his scores for the German films Die Räuber and Houston. In addition, the vinyl field set consists of an album of remixes and stay tracks.
Below, take a look at “Groove 139,” which Rother carried out stay at London’s Jazz Café with Hans Lampe (drums) and Franz Bargmann (guitar) in February 2018. In a press launch, Rother stated, “The track reflects a mixture of premeditated material and improvised actions which I enjoy very much, these days.”
