Netflix has officially commenced production on a new series titled Mystery of Mysteries, an adaptation of the latest novel by acclaimed author Dan Brown, best known for The Da Vinci Code.

The iconic role of Professor Robert Langdon will be portrayed by Morgan Spector (The Gilded Age). The ensemble cast also features Rebecca Hall, Corey Stoll, Rob Delaney, Cherry Jones, and Abbey Lee, among others.

Brown is set to serve as both a writer and executive producer, collaborating with Carlton Cuse (Lost). Published in 2025, Mystery of Mysteries marks the sixth installment in the Langdon series. In this narrative, the protagonist embarks on a quest to locate a missing scientist whose recent manuscript threatens to fundamentally shift our understanding of human consciousness.

An official release date for the series has not yet been determined. While Tom Hanks famously portrayed Langdon in The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons, and Inferno, the 2021 series The Lost Symbol previously featured Ashley Zukerman (Succession) in the lead role.
