Nelly Settles Sexual Assault and Defamation Lawsuit

Nelly (born Cornell Iral Haynes, Jr.) has settled his authorized troubles with Monique Greene, a pupil on the University of Washington who sued him for sexual assault and defamation, as TMZ studies. “Both parties have mutually agreed to drop the lawsuit. No settlement or money changed hands,” a consultant for Nelly confirmed to Pitchfork.

Greene alleged the sexual assault came about on his tour bus in Washington back in October. Nelly subsequently counter-sued Greene, claiming that her allegations had been false. He additionally asserted that Greene deliberately made the allegations to wreck his repute as an artist and stop him from with the ability to ebook and promote headlining reveals, in addition to launch and promote upcoming albums.
