NEKOPARA Sekai Connect adds Comm Mode and confirms Anime Expo 2026 appearance

Good Smile Company and NEKO WORKs have added Comm Mode to NEKOPARA Sekai Connect. The new feature is available in the smartphone game on iOS and Android as of June 29, 2026.

Comm Mode lets players interact more closely with their favorite catgirls through simple touch actions, including petting the screen. The update is meant to make character reactions and personality details more visible outside the regular puzzle and event flow.

New characters and events

The update also introduces Tsubaki, a new catgirl from Sakuragaoka Neko Academy. A Pickup Gacha for Tsubaki is planned alongside separate pickup banners for Ringo and Sumomo.

The limited-time event The 2nd Nyan Parade Festival of the Beasts is also scheduled. Players can earn Event Points through puzzle games and quests, then exchange them for rewards such as Gacha Tickets and other items.

Anime Expo 2026 plans

NEKOPARA Sekai Connect will be shown at the Good Smile Company booth during Anime Expo 2026. The announcement also mentions merchandise updates and new costumes, giving the mobile game a wider presence around the event.
