Neko Case has shared a brand new animated video for “Last Lion of Albion,” from her current album Hell-On. Check it out beneath. In a press release concerning the video’s director Laura Plansker, Case writes:
I’ve beloved her work endlessly; she’s so expert at utilizing handmade figures and props to create surreal worlds. Her work completely balances humor and darkness in a manner that breaks my coronary heart. She has a manner of creating one thing so synthetic so very alive. The turning of the lion’s head to take a look at the sky, or its personal reflection makes me cry my eyes out. There is a lot straight forward compassion in Laura’s work, there’s no want to control emotion of the viewer, it’s the excellent steadiness.
