Ne-Yo is a dad again! His wife, Crystal Smith, announced on Friday (June 25) that she has given birth to their third child together.
The 41-year-old singer’s wife shared the news of the birth of their daughter, Isabella Rose, in an Instagram post. She was born four weeks early and weighed in at just 5 pounds, 7 ounces, according to Smith’s caption.
“God said don’t make plans honey!” Crystal wrote. “She came 4 weeks early but right on time for mommy! 5 lbs 7 oz of perfection. My world is finally complete.”
Smith also shared a little more via Instagram Stories. “Princess Isabella Rose Smith! You are worth all the pain!” read one text screen. Another Story showed the little newborn’s inked footprint.
The “Because of You” singer announced Crystal’s pregnancy in a Feb. 21 Instagram post, which he hashtagged #5thandFinal. The two are also parents to Roman Alexander-Raj Smith and Shaffer Chimere Smith, Jr. The singer-songwriter also has two kids — Mason Evan Smith and Madilyn Grace Smith — with Monyetta Shaw. He and Crystal have been married since 2016.
“You ready baby?” he wrote in the caption at the time. “Let’s go!”
While Crystal was pregnant, the “Let Me Love You” singer was been busy working on his eighth studio album, The Escape, which he says is set to release in September or October. The album won’t be his first release this year, as the deluxe 15th anniversary edition of his debut album In My Own Words dropped Feb. 26, five days after the pregnancy announcement. Back in 2006, the album peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and spent 37 weeks on the chart.
