Morrissey was attacked onstage by a concertgoer at Copley Symphony Hall in San Diego final evening, TMZ reports. Morrissey was singing “Every Day Is Like Sunday” when a couple of live performance attendees stormed the stage. Footage of the incident (under) reveals that one man appeared to strike Morrissey earlier than the singer exited the stage and the assailant was dragged away by safety. Morrissey reportedly didn’t return to complete the efficiency. Pitchfork has reached out to Morrissey and the venue’s representatives for remark.
