Moonface—the solo mission of Wolf Parade and Sunset Rubdown’s Spencer Krug—is coming to an finish. Krug has introduced his ultimate launch below the moniker referred to as This One’s For the Dancer & This One’s For the Dancer’s Bouquet. It’s out November 2 by way of Jagjaguwar. This One’s For the Dancer & This One’s For the Dancer’s Bouquet follows 2016’s collaborative album with Siinai referred to as My Best Human Face. Moonface’s final solo launch was 2014’s City Wrecker EP. Krug mixed two separate tasks to create the upcoming four-sided document—a part of the LP was written from the standpoint of a Minotaur, whereas the opposite half from Krug’s personal perspective. “I never made an album under [Moonface] I was embarrassed by, and this is one of my favorites, so I may as well get out while I still can, on a personal high note to boot,” Krug mentioned in an announcement. “Take this album as a sort of partying gift before Moonface sails into oblivion; the alter-ego’s final offering.” All This One’s For the Dancer & This One’s For the Dancer’s Bouquet pre-orders will arrive with a postcard for AMA questions, which Krug will reply and mail again in December—all questions have to be mailed by Friday, November 30.
Krug has shared a number of tasks as Moonface, together with 2010’s Dreamland EP: Marimba and Shit-Drums, 2011’s Organ Music Not Vibraphone Like I’d Hoped, and 2013’s Julia with Blue Jeans On. Last 12 months, Wolf Parade launched Cry Cry Cry.
