Memphis spitter Moneybagg Yo stopped by the 2021 BET Awards on Sunday (June 27) evening.
Opening with a quick tease of “Wockesha,” Moneybagg quickly switched over to another one of his Billboard Hot 100 top 40s, “Time Today,” which found him joined by a coterie of turnt, very athletic backup dancers. Decked out in all white, Moneybagg gave us “Time” while bursts of steam shot up around him onstage and images of clocks and $100 bill-boy Benjamin Franklin flashed behind him.
Both tracks hailed from A Gangsta’s Pain, which topped the Billboard 200 this year.
