A family that balls together, stays together. Just ask Missy Elliott, who celebrated her 50th birthday in the highest style on Thursday (July 1) with the gift of a custom black Lamborghini with neon green accents, courtesy of her mom.
“Thank you mommy 4 my BDAY gift she got me a SVJ Lambo roadster she said I work so hard I have been in the industry over 25 yrs and only had 3 vacations but this BDAY is Amazing & I Thank y’all for my BDAY wishes I LOVE YALL,” Elliott tweeted along with a video of her sweet new ride, which retails for north of $570,000.
Patricia Elliott wasn’t the only one wishing the Grammy-winner a happy born day.
Longtime friend and collaborator Busta Rhymes wrote, “Happy Bday to the incredible @missymisdemeanorelliott I love you and Congrats on another successful cycle around the sun. Keep shining Queen.”
Meanwhile, Jazmine Sullivan went all caps with her message: “HAPPY BDAY 2 THE ICON THE GOAT THE REASON I DO 3 PART HARMONY, MY FRIEND @MissyElliott . LOVE U &THANK U FOR ALWAYS BELIEVING IN ME.
