The influential Texas emo band Mineral have returned with their first new tune in 20 years. It’s referred to as “Aurora” and you’ll hear it beneath (by way of NPR). The tune comes as a part of the band’s upcoming 25th anniversary celebration, which additionally entails a tour and a restricted version retrospective e book, One Day When We Are Young: Mineral at 25. Mineral’s two albums—1997’s The Power of Failing and 1998’s EndSerenading—have been reissued in 2014. That identical 12 months, they kicked off a reunion tour.
