Meek Mill has been tapped for his first-ever studio function movie function, as Deadline reviews. The rapper has been solid in Angel Manuel Soto’s 12 O’Clock Boys, an adaptation of the 2013 documentary of the identical title that adopted a bunch of grime bike riders in Baltimore, Maryland. (He beforehand appeared within the 2011 movie Streets.)
Meek is about to play the the “leader of the Midnight Clique,” a motorcycle gang. Other solid members embody Teyonah Parris, Jahi Winston, and Will Catlett. The unique script was written by Barry Jenkins (Moonlight) and the movie is being produced by Overbrook Entertainment.
Meek not too long ago launched his first mission since being launched from jail, the Legends of the Summer EP. In May, it was introduced that JAY-Z was producing a documentary series on Meek and his struggle for exoneration.
