Matmos have introduced a brand new album. Plastic Anniversary is out March 15 through Thrill Jockey. The document celebrates the duo’s anniversary as a pair. It was additionally recorded utilizing solely “sounds derived from plastic objects.” According to a press launch, the 11-track album goals to discover “the world’s relationship to plastic—a material whose durability, portability, and longevity, while heralded by its makers, are the very qualities that make it a force of environmental devastation.” Check out the quilt artwork, tracklist, and album trailer beneath.
