The Queen of Christmas has defrosted and made her long-awaited return with new holiday music, while two Billboard Hot 100 chart-toppers teamed up this week to create some magic. But which project is your favorite?
Mariah Carey ushered in Christmas on Friday (Nov. 5) with the release of her newest holiday track “Fall in Love at Christmas,” with assistance from gospel legend Kirk Franklin and Khalid to provide a modern twist — even though Christmas is a full 50 days away.
Post Malone and The Weeknd also hopped on the collaboration bandwagon and released their new joint single “One Right Now,” a synth-heavy track that sees the duo lamenting a failed relationship while setting up the landscape for their respective new musical eras.
Ahead of his Astroworld Festival, Travis Scott seemingly couldn’t wait to release new music for his fans, delivering not one, but two new tracks: “Escape Plan” and “Mafia.” The jury is still out on whether Scott will perform the new songs at the festival during his headlining set, but fans can hold themselves over in the meantime with the brand-new tracks.
