Mariah Carey has expressed that she would “like to” carry out on the iconic Super Bowl Halftime Show someday.
As the singer was leaving a restaurant in Los Angeles on Sunday (Sept. 23), she was approached by TMZ with the query of if she would ever carry out on the annual soccer occasion, to which she replied, “I’d like to!”
Though Carey has but to carry out on the halftime present, she did take to the Super Bowl stage to sing a shocking rendition of “The Star Spangled Banner” again in 2002.
In a 2016 interview with Andy Cohen for Watch What Happens Live, Carey advised the discuss present host that she would do the halftime present when she had a single within the works. Two years later, Carey has launched her latest single, “GTFO,” and now has followers hoping she’ll get to carry out at the halftime present in 2020.
