Manor Lords Publisher Says Game Is Not Afraid of GTA 6 Release Date

PC gamers will not rely solely on Devolver Digital for new releases on November 19.

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. The game will not launch on PC, but PC gamers will certainly not be left without new games on that day.

At the very least, Devolver Digital will offer Volvy’s Adventure: Reslimed, and Hooded Horse, known to many for Manor Lords and Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, is preparing for the full release of Blacksmith Master.

This project launched in Steam Early Access last year. Players are invited to take control of a medieval forge, managing various processes ranging from ore and gemstone mining to crafting and selling finished goods.

Obviously, the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI will be a massive event and will capture widespread attention. Hooded Horse is well aware of this. In a recent publication, publisher CEO Tim Bender joked:

Are we not worried that GTA is coming out on the exact same day? Actually, it is a strategy: people who are looking for the PC version of GTA VI to steal cars and shoot enemies will instead discover that they actually want to manage little people shoeing horses.

He then explained that concerns regarding the GTA VI release are justified when launching a AAA game in a similar genre. According to the executive, indie developers should not worry:

Jokes aside, the GTA release will not affect the release of Blacksmith Master in any way shape or form. No harm will be done. Indie developers worry far too much about launching their games at the same time as some major new release. Of course, you should not release your console-focused action-adventure AAA game on November 19. But in all other cases, there is nothing to worry about.
