Major update for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind improves gamepad support — OpenMW 0.50 release candidate available
The Morrowind community continues to rally behind the game.
The OpenMW team has recently released the 0.50 release candidate. The update brings improvements to multiple facets of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.
Version 0.50 enhances controller support and includes a new optional interface designed specifically for gamepad use.
The developers also noted that traditional PC players should find the patch valuable, saying:
“Even if you’re a staunch mouse-and-keyboard purist, you’ll appreciate the many user-interface and gameplay fixes in this update, as well as the steps taken to de-hardcode the combat system.”
For now the release is intended for testers, and the length of the testing period has not been specified.
