Madonna‘s son Rocco celebrated 21 trips around the sun on Wednesday (Aug. 11), and his superstar mother couldn’t help reminisce on all their past years together.
Madame X took to Instagram to share snapshots of her and Rocco over the years and around the world, from on top of a mountain to the back of an ATV while revealing “the greatest journey” they’ve embarked on.
“Happy Birthday Rocco!!” she wrote with a hearty amount of celebratory emojis. “We Have Been on many Trips together around the World. But the Greatest journey i have taken with you is the one inside my [heart]. Love you to the moon and back. Forever and Always.”
Ariana Grande liked the touching tribute, while other A-list friends such as Italian fashion designer Riccardo Tisci and Debi Mazar sent their love in the comments.
The 62-year-old icon shares Rocco with ex-husband Guy Ritchie, and the resemblance between father and son in Madonna’s photos is uncanny. She doesn’t often post pictures of Rocco, while her other children are no strangers to her Instagram feed, including Lourdes Leon, 24; David Banda, 15; Mercy James, 15; and twins Stella Ciccone and Estere Ciccone, 8.
