Luis Fonsi took center stage as the musical guest at the 69th edition Miss Universe pageant Sunday night (May 16).
“Excited to be singing here, celebrating the strength and beauty of women,” he expressed on Instagram.
Fonsi performed his Rauw Alejandro-assisted “Vacio,” his take on Son By Four’s “A Puro Dolor,” for the Top 5 beauty contestants: Miss Brazil, Miss Dominican Republic, Miss India, Miss Mexico, and Miss Peru.
During rehearsals, Fonsi also took a photo with Miss Puerto Rico Estefanía Soto Torres, wishing her all the best at the competition.
Chihuahua-born Andrea Meza was crowned Miss Universe by Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa, becoming the third Mexican woman to be crowned Miss Universe.
