Lizzo composed an empowering breakup anthem for Love Island USA season 6 alum JaNa Craig after her split from co-star Kenny Rodriguez, and Craig couldn’t be more delighted with the tribute.
The Grammy-winning artist hopped on TikTok Tuesday to unveil a snippet, belting, “Hold up, step with me / When it’s about my people, I don’t play, I don’t play / Why did Kenny treat JaNa that way? / You know what I’m saying, you know what I’m saying.”

The pair ended their nearly year-long relationship last month. On July 29, Craig revealed via Instagram Story, “Realizing someone you loved wasn’t who you believed them to be, and recognizing that our relationship wasn’t genuine from day one, has been truly devastating.” She later branded Rodriguez a “manipulative liar” after he posted, “Breakups are never easy, especially in the public eye. Even when you care deeply for someone, sometimes you must face the hard truth that it wasn’t meant to last.”
Chatting with TMZ outside LAX on Wednesday, Craig admitted she was stunned by Lizzo’s song. “It feels surreal to get so much love, and hearing it from Lizzo herself? Unbelievable,” she said, before sharing plans to head back to her hotel and record a TikTok reaction.
True to her word, Craig uploaded a TikTok captioned, “No way @lizzo… we need the deets! And hit me up for that music video 👀🥰 #Lizzoiloveyou.” Lizzo replied, “Always team NayNay.”
