Lost Odyssey Ported to PC After 19 Years with Modern Xbox 360 Features Added
Now the developer plans to introduce frame generation.
PC players have recently been reminded of Lost Odyssey, which was released almost 20 years ago as an Xbox 360 exclusive. A developer operating under the handle freefrank has released an updated version of “LostOdysseyRecomp,” which is an unofficial PC port of the game. Builds are already available for Windows x64 and Linux (x64).
With version 0.7 of “LostOdysseyRecomp,” support was introduced for modern NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution technology as well as AMD FSR in Direct3D 12 and Vulkan.
AMD FSR 3.1.4 is available with the Native AA mode, and Lost Odyssey now fully works in 21:9 Ultrawide and other screen formats. In addition, developer freefrank continues to resolve various technical issues and fix graphical bugs.

freefrank has published the source code for the “LostOdysseyRecomp” project publicly on GitHub. The project is still in an early testing stage: the developer has already checked some scenes, but has not played through the entire game. Copyrighted game files are not included in the archive, and players will need to provide their own copy of Lost Odyssey.
Version 0.8.0 of “LostOdysseyRecomp” is expected to feature DLSS Frame Generation and experimental Android support.
