Lizzo‘s not done with her love for Chris Evans yet! The “Truth Hurts” singer brought up her crush once more in a TikTok video on Tuesday (July 27).
A fan’s comment kicked off the latest video involving the movie star. “lizzo baby… we know your [pregnant emoji] and we know it’s Chris Evans now spill the tea,” the follower’s message to the artist reads.
In her video response, Lizzo stands in a kitchen as the Captain America theme song plays. “This is something that I’ve been really trying to keep personal and private just between me and the father of my child, but since we’re airing out all the rumors today,” she began before putting down the phone to reveal her belly, “I’ve been sucking in!” She then smiles happily, rubbing her fake baby bump.
She concludes by yelling joyously, “We’re going to have a little America!”
Lizzo previously shared her hot and fuzzy feelings for the actor in an April TikTok video, advising her fans to “don’t drink and DM, kids.” Turns out that she had done just that, and messaged the Knives Out star. “The reason I’m upset about this one is because I know I’m not going to be able to marry him,” she explained at the time. “And honestly, it hurts me to the core, because d—, papa! He a rare breed!”
It all worked out, though. The “Juice” singer later revealed that Evans not only started following her on Instagram, but that he also responded to her. “No shame in a drunk DM,” he replied with a kissy face emoji. “God knows I’ve done worse on this app.”
Besides sharing her Evans-infused hopes and dreams, Lizzo got serious for a bit on Tuesday. In a seven-minute Instagram video, she asked fans to please keep at least six feet away in order to help ensure that her mom stays healthy as the Delta variant continues to drive COVID-19 cases up. She also free-styled an anti-COVID song in the clip, singing: “I don’t want you up in my personal space/ I ain’t tryin’ to catch no COVID today/ You get Lysol if you up in my face.”
