Little Mix Star Perrie Edwards Expecting Second Child with Fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Perrie Edwards and her fiancé, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, are thrilled to announce they are expecting their second child. The 32-year-old Little Mix singer disclosed the happy news on Saturday, September 6, sharing that she and the professional footballer are eagerly awaiting a new addition to their family.

“Guess what, hunnies…,” Edwards teased in an endearing black-and-white video posted to Instagram, accompanied by a red heart emoji.

In the clip, Perrie wears a white tee inscribed with “If He Wanted To He Would…” on the back. As she turns, she reveals her baby bump and the front of the shirt, which reads “…and He Did!” Shortly after, Oxlade-Chamberlain and their three-year-old son, Axel, step into frame for a warm family embrace.

This announcement follows a heartfelt conversation Edwards had on the We Need to Talk podcast last month, where she opened up about the devastating loss she experienced after welcoming Axel in 2021.

“Axel hadn’t even started walking when I realised I was pregnant again,” the X Factor alum shared. “During Little Mix rehearsals in April 2022, I felt every symptom imaginable—I just knew something was happening.”

Despite early check-ups offering reassurance, Edwards encountered nightly bleeding on tour. “Each evening before a show, I’d bleed and think, ‘This is it, I’ve lost the baby,’” she revealed.

Her fears were confirmed at her 20-week scan. “That was the most harrowing day of my life,” she said, describing the gut-wrenching pain of planning a nursery and envisioning her child’s future only to have those dreams vanish.
