Legion Breaker will launch on Steam on October 13, 2026. Developed by Alfred Baley under the name Baffled Engineer, the 2D incremental auto-battler puts a wizard and a growing army against the undead forces of the Necromancer King.

The campaign begins with one spell and one defender. Defeating skeletons earns gold for upgrades, new spells and additional troops. The battlefield expands as the waves grow, and boss encounters test the army built along the way.

Progression runs through a skill tree with different elemental spell arsenals, troop compositions and upgrade paths. Players can shape both the wizard’s abilities and the force fighting beside them.

Baley cites Mount and Blade and Total War as influences on army building, with Kingdom informing the visual style. Legion Breaker is the UK solo developer’s first commercial release, announced with publisher Level Up Gaming.
