Leaked photos of the new Khemri (Tomb Kings) starter set for Warhammer: The Old World appear online

If the images currently circulating online are authentic, the new “Tomb Kings of Khemri Battalion” starter set for the tabletop game Warhammer: The Old World appears to include miniatures of Tomb Guards, archers, warriors, and more.

Thanks to a listing from an eBay seller, fans of Warhammer: The Old World have gotten their first look at a new “Tomb Kings of Khemri” battalion starter set dedicated to the Tomb Kings of Khemri.

From the photographs, the slightly battered box appears to hold 58 miniatures. The set reportedly includes a powerful and menacing Necrosphinx (or Khemri Battle Sphinx), one of the Tomb Kings, 20 skeleton warriors, 16 skeleton archers, and 20 Tomb Guards.

Although the battalion is presented as a new release, experts note it uses older warrior sculpts, so the leak hasn’t won over all of Warhammer: The Old World’s undead aficionados — for now it should be regarded as a rumor.
