ARK Community Crunch 252: Combat Stats and Community Corner

Studio Wildcard’s Community Crunch 252, published on January 29, 2021, paired a weekly data snapshot with a broader showcase of player creations. This is an archived ARK: Survival Evolved update, so its event notes describe that specific weekend rather than current server settings.

Combat and creature statistics

The studio compared the share of players killed by each weapon type on PC and Xbox. The Xbox distribution was broadly unchanged, with only small week-to-week shifts across the two platforms. The same four wild creatures remained the leading causes of player deaths, but their combined total fell by 14.9% from the previous week. The post also confirmed that there would be no EVO event that weekend.

Why Community Corner expanded

The former Fan Art section was renamed Community Corner so it could cover more than illustrations. Studio Wildcard invited notable clips, videos and posts from Twitch, Discord, Twitter, YouTube, Reddit and Facebook, giving builders, streamers and other creators a place in the weekly roundup.

Featured creations

The selected videos included The Pilgrimz’s large house build with a new roof design, Aaron Longstaff’s modern house and Sypher Sam’s Astromech Droid speed build. The wider roundup also included community clips and fan art submitted during the week.
