Raise Fish Like a Pro

Fish Fodder — Your First Priority

Before you install pens and nets, make sure the fish have reliable feed. You can either buy prepared fish fodder by the pallet for a quick start, or set up your own production for a long-term, cost-efficient solution.

Buying feed is the fastest way to get started—simply purchase pallets at the warehouse and you’re set. If you intend to scale, however, owning a feed production facility pays off: process flour, soybeans and oil into your own fish fodder and cut ongoing costs.

The Breeding Facility — Trout & Salmon

Open the dealership’s Construction menu, then navigate to Production Chain → Aquaculture to place a breeding facility. Position it where it makes the most sense for your layout.

Once the building is operational, deliver fish feed to the unloading bay. In exchange you’ll receive boxed juvenile trout and salmon ready for sale or further rearing.

Fish Transport — Where to Send Them?

Crates of juvenile fish

With boxes of young fish in hand you have two paths: sell them immediately at the fish market for a steady return, or invest in marine logistics and move them offshore to grow into market-size adults.

To sell locally, unload the boxes at the fish market’s designated area and collect payment. If you’re shipping them by sea, load the cargo onto a vessel—either via forklift and ramp or using the ship’s crane.

Aqua Farms — Farming on the Open Sea

Cargo boats are available at the harbor. Load them with fish pallets and navigate out to offshore aqua farms, where the juveniles will be raised to adults.

Unload the boxes into the aqua farm’s intake point and deliver feed there, too—well-fed fish grow quickly. When they reach maturity, adult trout and salmon are collected in crates and can be brought back to shore for sale or processing.

Bonus: Sports Boat & Fishpond

For a touch of style, you can buy a sports boat for leisurely trips and coastal fishing. If you prefer a low-maintenance option, place a fishpond on your property to raise and catch fish on a smaller scale.

A fishpond offers a compact, controllable environment to breed and harvest fish without heading offshore.
