Lady Gaga Uses Roblox to Promote Her ‘Wednesday’ Song (Yes, It’s Really Her!)

Strut, strut, fashion darling! Lady Gaga recently dove into the chic virtual realm of Roblox’s Dress to Impress, teasing her upcoming single “Dead Dance” as fans paraded down the digital runway in her iconic looks.

On August 23, during a special Mayhem-themed meet-and-greet, the pop superstar teamed up with Little Monsters to create outfits inspired by her wardrobe, then showcased them in a runway showdown for top scores. To prove it was really her, the 14-time Grammy winner shared snapshots of herself playing on an iPad via X.

“Wondering if it was really me #MAYHEMtoImpress #DressToImpress,” she captioned one post.

The digital event prefaced the release of “Dead Dance,” a track Gaga wrote and recorded for Netflix’s Jenna Ortega-led series Wednesday. The final four episodes, featuring a cameo from Gaga, premiere September 3, 2025.

Sharp-eyed players even captured screenshots of Gaga’s avatar hinting at the new song, with on-screen bubbles proclaiming, “TOTAL MAYHEM in here, who is excited for THE DEAD DANCE.”

“Dead Dance” marks her first release since the critically lauded Mayhem album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in March. She’s currently supporting the LP on her Mayhem Ball tour.

Although this Roblox collaboration represents a fresh promotional frontier, Gaga has previously partnered with video games—most notably headlining the Fortnite Festival, a Rock Band-style experience within Fortnite, last year.
