Lady Gaga Unveils ‘Dawn of Chromatica’ Remix Album: Stream It Now

Chromatica may have come and gone, but now, the Dawn has officially arrived.

Lady Gaga dropped her brand new remix album Dawn of Chromatica on Friday (Sept. 3) via Interscope Records. The LP, featuring revamped versions of the songs off her 2020 Billboard 200 No. 1 album, was confirmed by Gaga in mid August when she told her fans on Twitter that the album “is so f—ing fuego,” before she officially unveiled its release date on Monday (Aug. 30).

The new project, produced by Gaga’s Chromatica collaborator BloodPop, features a bevy of artists offering their own versions of tracks such as “Rain on Me,” “Stupid Love” and many more. Among the artists included are Charli XCX, Rina Sawayama, Arca, Pabllo Vittar, Ashnikko, Shygirl, Dorian Electra, LSDXOXO, Bree Runway, A.G. Cook and more.

Rumors surrounding Dawn of Chromatica first started swirling when BloodPop teasingly asked fans who they would want included on the album. “In theory – which artists would y’all want to see on a Chromatica remix album (and on what song),” he tweeted before tagging Sawayama in the post directly following his teaser.

Dawn of Chromatica isn’t the only Lady Gaga album that fans can look forward to in 2021. Earlier in August, Mother Monster announced that she and Tony Bennett would be reuniting with another album of jazz standards, this time paying tribute to Cole Porter, titled Love for Sale, due out Oct. 1, 2021. The pair shared their first single off the album, “I Get A Kick Out of You,” alongside the announcement on Aug. 3.
