Kristen Stewart to Star in Supernatural Drama from “The Wizard of the Kremlin” Director

Actress Kristen Stewart (known for the “Twilight” saga) is set to headline the latest project from French filmmaker Olivier Assayas, the visionary behind “The Wizard of the Kremlin.” The pair previously collaborated on the critically acclaimed films “Clouds of Sils Maria” and “Personal Shopper” (pictured).

The upcoming feature, titled “Spiritual World,” centers on Ada, a young medium portrayed by Stewart who finds herself haunted by a series of unsettling visions.

The ensemble cast also features Academy Award nominee Wagner Moura, Riley Keough, Vicky Krieps, Niels Schneider, and Barbara Sukowa. Production is scheduled to commence in February 2027.

Last year, Stewart unveiled her directorial debut, “The Chronology of Water.” She is currently involved in the production of the Prime Video series “Challenger,” which chronicles the life of the first American woman to travel into space.
