Konami Will Now Try to Fix the Silent Hill 2 Remake on PS5 Pro
Bloober Team is no longer responsible for the project.
Konami — not Bloober Team — is now handling the performance issues affecting Silent Hill 2 on the PS5 Pro. Bloober Team developers stated that all related matters “are under Konami’s purview” when asked about optimizing the game for that console, signaling they are no longer managing those fixes.
In May, the Polish studio said it was working with the publisher to address the problem and would provide updates when available. Currently, Bloober Team is directing all enquiries to Konami.
At launch, Silent Hill 2 was listed as having enhancements for the PS5 Pro; however, similar to Silent Hill F and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, the title runs worse on the upgraded console than on the standard PS5.
