The timing is perfect and necessarily calculated: Microïds waited until the day of the broadcast of the first episode of Koh-Lanta All-Stars (The Legend) to reveal the first images of his video game, namely Koh-Lanta: The Adventurers , more than a year after the announcement. We’re not going to lie to each other and mythologize to please RP friends, but visually, the title swears a lot with graphics that give the impression of dealing with a somewhat outdated mobile game. Magic Pockets is in charge of development, a studio used to small productions or second-class adaptations. The bias of a DA close to a BD rendering could save this somewhat cheap rendering, but we will wait to see the game in motion to draw definitive conclusions.
In the meantime, be aware that in terms of gameplay, this Koh-Lanta: Les Aventuriers will focus on both hardships and life in the camp with the possibility of following certain candidates and thus participating in the collection of coconuts, water or even wood. During these lull moments, it will be possible to explore the encampment area in search of an immunity collar, which will come in handy during the next council. Another nice detail of the gameplay: the possibility of making alliances or betraying certain teammates, as in the real game, knowing that the choices will influence the outcome of the adventure. Beautiful promises therefore, which we expect to see when the game is released, namely on October 14 on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
