Obviously, with the Tokyo Game Show currently being held (both online and on site for Japanese media and influencers), the publisher had to make a splash. It’s quite successful since the choice of characters presented today did not fail to react. To start with, there is Isa, a brand new female character that we saw in the gamescom trailer last August. Looked streetware style with a cap, a pair of sneakers and oversized clothes, it is distinguished above all by its attitude, both hands in the pockets. But his power still allows him to spawn ghost hands, much like Shun’Ei. SNK also specifies that Isa is a rival of the latter and we imagine that the two characters will have things to say to each other in the Story mode. Better, according to Eisuke Ogura, the creative director on the game, the scenario of KOF XV revolves around these two protagonists.
While waiting to learn more, we could also revel in a second trailer, that of K ‘, also revealed a month earlier rather briefly. This time, we know a little more about him and in particular his gameplay, which seems to go back to his first love. Sharper than in KOF XIV, it also benefits from a new fury that throws a lot of it.
